- Kumar Sangakkara having a strike rate of 209.30
- 825 runs being scored in an ODI like the balls were coming from machines, rather than actually being bowled
-Harbajan having an economic rate of 5.80 with two wickets on a pitch that didn't assist bowlers
-Bowlers continuing to bowl like cricket actually gives a shit about their hard work
Why is it that people had such a problem when endless runs are being scored in Tests, but in ODI's it becomes entertainment? I have a problem with both. Sehwag and Dilshan were mindblowing, but somewhere, someone must have pity on the bowlers.
Are the legacies of Marshall, Donald, Akram, McGrath etc. dying?
Maybe.

I too am guilty of enjoying yesterday's match but, believe me, you should've watched it live! Man, it was so thrilling that I was literally biting my nails off! If you're going to have a slogfest, make sure the pitch is super-flat...no use makin' it flat for the first innings and slow for the second...
I saw India's batting, then went to sleep. I must admit I would have loved to watch the Lankan chase and it really is heart-breaking. But I feel for the bowlers. I really do.
Sri Lanka Deserved to win ! they put up a brave fight and Sanga was at his sublime best and Dilshan - take a bow!
Don't worry the pitch is Rajkot is super flat and the ground is too small..we wont have such high scoring encounters anymore in the series! and an ODI series in India is surely a Bowler's nightmare!
Adi, thank god for that. Will we get to watch Sreesanth again? And can Bhajji stop taking wickets please?
Sree is out with Swine Flue, but, well, Bhajji's style of bowling is better suited to flat ODI wickets, IMO!
