Ordinary Bangladesh

The Bangladeshi cricket team in Virender Sehwag's dictionary comes under 'O'. There's a picture of some Bangladeshi batsman getting out to yet another short ball. Probably Ashraful. The definition says,

Ordinary: The Bangladeshi cricket team, Viru. Score your triple hundred.

With these words in his heart, Virender Sehwag went out to bat. Brisk fifty. No time to waste. Must make the triple century this tour.

Bangladesh gave away 63 runs in the first 13 overs. Then they went to lunch and found their own dictionary lying around. It read,

Ordinary: What you put in the opposition's food during lunch. Warning: May have laxative-like effects. Batsmen may run back to the change room frequently.

That, I have to tell you was the correct definition. At least for yesterday. Here's some more:

Shahadat Hossain: Full-tosser no more.

Middle Stump: What Rahul Dravid lost to Shahadat. Very violently.

Mushfiq-ur-Rahim: The tiny thing that VVS failed to notice.

Session Two: Where Bangladesh were 'Ordinary' as per the Bangladeshi dictionary.

Bangladesh: In your face...BITCH.

Good one! VVS' dismissal was awful.
Totally clueless.
And Yuvi looked pathetic.
[sigh]

Tendulkar is still there, so don't sigh. We are probably going to still lose this.

What Sehwag forgot was apart from Sachin, all the others are quite "Ordinary" in his own team. Anyways with Bangladesh 59/3 this test match is really well balanced according to me. I hope bad light does not continue to play spoilsport.

Purna don't worry it all looks like 2007 all over again. Bad light playing spoilsport this time.

The press conference was frankly what was expected of Sehwag. see question HIT question.

It would be great if Bangladesh could hold onto a draw with the night not helping them but having seen matches like the Aussies chase over 300,the Inzi test, the Vettori test and shahadat getting 6 vs saffas test it seems the only way to a draw is bad light!

It's a win-win situation for you. If the test is a draw and win the next one India loose 1 point in the rankings..so easier for the saffas to overtake!

Well something to cheer about home team, nice feeling. I just hope Tigers don't disappoint you like Pakis but hey they almost do it the same way :P

LOve to see some fight against so called # 1 team.

Sehwag is a scumbag isn't he?

Haha, at the "see question, HIT question" part Adi! Bangladesh won't win this for sure. But I am happy that they dominated a day at least. But as usual, if one department fires, the other goes kaput. You would think they are firing at themselves!

Rayden, I like the fact that Sachin takes every game seriously no matter who the opposition and what the series. I respect him for that.

Reverse, well I wouldn't call him a scumbag but it was really annoying. Sehwag isn't diplomatic at all though.

Purna - more than Sachin taking every game seriously, he respect each and every team and individual. I have never heard him say anything bad about anyone in his entire career. I have met him a few times and while other "celebrities" in India often behave like hooligans, Sachin is always down to earth and well behaved - inspite of acheiving so much.
