Mind reader

I was going to do a post on the Delhi pitch and the stupidity of the whole situation. But then I came across this article:

Bring on the lousy pitches by Jrod.

It's pretty much everything I would have said with a whole bunch of 'fucking cowards' included. Maybe I'll just add it here to sum up.

Fucking cowards.

Go read it.

I thought it was kind of sad. Bloody administrators and players won't be happy till even no 11's are scoring 2 or 3 fifties a season.

The bowlers aren't allowed to not play on pancakes so why should a wicket with dodgy bounce be disallowed?

Bowlers aren't even going coach, these days they are walking AND carrying the batsmen's bags.

The batsmen are just a bunch of fucktards. If you can't fend for yourself with so much gear, then stop playing cricket! The worst part was that the old-timer, Jayasuriya, was the guy who lasted the longest! :O

It's all the gears that's making them soft. Helmets should be banned so they can feel the real extent of a fast bowler. Even in a flat pitch.

When the Windies were at their peak and had the world's most dangerous fast bowlers, batsmen used to play their balls based on anticipation. You couldn't even see their balls. They didn't have a problem.

It's also the spectators I tell you. Most people want to see huge totals over good, tight bowling.

This is what I totally don't get, does anybody understand that? Batting wickets are so boring they make your eyes fall out. I mean seriously, if you have no real battle between ball and bat, why the heck do you watch cricket. Okay I might be more on the bowling side of things, but still.

I know Wes. It stinks. I really like cricket when spin or seam bowlers are bowling well and the batsmen have to be really on their marks for overs on end. When the batsmen are genuinely tested in any of the formats that is when cricket is at it's most thrilling.

But I have become a genre market as most people want to see the batsmen smacking the ball out of the park and the bowlers being roasted on a spit.
