Awww, Purn, you made me feel all soppy for a minute... stop that!! Have you seen Alan Tyers' (we really need to come up with some kind of official title for him) take on the English boys and Bangladesh? Top stuff, as usual.
Haha ... nice one!
Yes I did. It was brilliant. Have you joined his facebook group yet?http://www.facebook.com/pages/Alan-Tyers-The-greatest-cricket-satirist/295550542501?ref=mf&v=wallOfficial title: Sir, Boss, Don?
Will try and follow this as good as possible. Poms must be smacked on the cheeks. Everywhere. Besides, I am getting used to supporting teams that try hard and... well, try hard.Wes' last blog:((( Kiwis have round butts )))
I can't abide Stuart Broad. Please arrange some sort of accident!
Although I am loving the fact that everybody is rooting for the Deshis and hoping the Poms get smacked, realistically...not going to happen. But thanks for the vote of confidence!Reisa, funny I was just about to do a post on that.
I like Sir Alan. Don Alan could work although would be confusing; maybe Alan 'The Don' Tyers? Lord Alan might upset Sid... ooh I know; Alan Tyers, Cricket Laureate. I'm not on facebook... reading you lot takes enough of my time as it is. :) Good idea, tho.
Yes, Alan Tyers, Cricket Laureate. Very apt. Even 'The Don' Tyers is good.Although, how do you think Aussies will feel about that one (other than you of course!)? Seeing that he IS English.
I think the CL (abbreviated already :) is above nationality - he certainly doesn't mind who he picks on! I have to admit, I have a minor issue comparing anyone to the Don, but that's not because I'm Australian, it's because I don't think anyone ever measures up to him, and you can't compare people to him while they're still playing because they might get cursed by you and suddenly be terrible. :) Please don't curse the CL. I think someone should send him a certificate.
Me curse the CL?? NEVER!I think the CL will run from us if he ever comes across this...
